The file above is the line up for National Numeracy Day. Throughout the day there are lots of talks happening about all things maths related. Most are aimed at adults but include themes such as 'how to support your child with their mathematical learning' as well as 'things I wish I'd learnt in school'. If you wish to brush up on your own mathematics take a look!

Oxford Owl ebooks
Here you can find a range of ebooks to read. Search by book band for the level that is appropriate for your child. Children in year 1 range roughly between red band and orange band. In Year 2 they are roughly between turquoise and brown band. You will need to create a parent account, but it is free to access.
A website with lots of experiments and accompanying youtube clips to do at home. Plenty of activities for all ages. Lots of sciency fun!

A fantastic site full of ideas for sensory play that can easily be done at home. We particularly like their playdough recipe. It is very quick and easy to make.
